International Students

The Roman Baths is an essential stopping point for anyone visiting the United Kingdom. For groups of students visiting the Roman Baths, there are some extra guidelines to take into account. For full details, please read this downloadable leaflet

We offer hand-held audioguides at no extra charge to all visitors in a choice of the following languages: English, Mandarin, Russian, French, German, Spanish, Italian and Japanese.

In addition to the audioguides, leaflets are available in the following languages upon request: Arabic, Bengali, Chinese (Cantonese), Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Farsi, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Malay, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Slovakian, Spanish, Swedish, Thai, Turkish, Ukranian, Urdu, Welsh.

There is a guided tour of the site by Roman Baths staff on the hour, every hour. This trip starts under the clock at the Great Bath which is about halfway through a standard visit, so if your group arrives at 11.00am they should be in good time to take the 12.00 midday tour. Students with a basic level of English will benefit more from the explorer trail, which can be downloaded by clicking here
