Roman Legionary Museum, Caerleon
The remains of this Roman fortress which was built at Caerleon in
AD 75. The Museum shows how the legions would have lived and

Corbridge Roman site was once a prosperous town and supply depot
for Hadrians Wall. Extensive archaeological remains can be seen at
the site, both on the ground and in the museum. The site is managed

Housesteads Roman Fort
Housesteads is on one of the most dramatic parts of Hadrian s Wall,
with extensive remains of a fort on an outcrop of the Whin Sill.
Finds and sculptures from the site are on display in the museum.
The site is managed by English Heritage on behalf of the National
Trust.
