Talk and demonstration of the workings of Sir Thomas Tompion's clock and the nearby sundial in the Pump Room, Bath.

 

This specialist talk is a treat for anyone interested in British history, antiques, clock-making or the science of timekeeping. It takes place in the elegant and comfortable surroundings of the Pump Room in Bath over a delicious Pump Room breakfast.

 

Speaker: Stephen Clews, BSc AMA, Manager, The Roman Baths & Pump Room, who has been responsible for this famous clock since 1989.
