Step back in time and uncover the beauty of the Latin language in this engaging day course for beginners. Join expert George Sharpley, a former university teacher of Latin, as he guides you through snippets of ancient texts, lines of poetry, and fascinating insights into Roman history and culture.

No prior knowledge of Latin is required, and even those with some experience will enjoy exploring the language in new and exciting ways. Together, you’ll:

  • Read and understand snippets from ancient writers
  • Discover how Latin influences modern English
  • Enjoy hearing great works read aloud

This is a relaxed, hands-on course where learning is fun, interactive, and accessible to all.
