The Roman Baths are a popular choice for Home Educators to learn more about Roman bathing and life in a Roman town.
Join us this Winter to celebrate Saturnalia. Saturnalia was the most popular holiday in the Roman year as it was a time to honour the god Saturn. It was an occasion for celebrating, visiting friends, the presentation of a wax candles and homes were decorated with greenery.
Pick up a trail as you explore the museum after the activity session.
Arrive at the Roman Baths Clore Learning Centre where you will meet our Workshop Leader for your session. Afterwards you will access the Roman Baths via our underground tunnels for a self-guided tour in the museum, following our special trail.
